The Mac store 'genius', didn't actually do anything beyond what I had already done (doing DFU restore, etc). I waited a night and a day (just over 24 hrs). The finder takes some time downloading and then says 'preparing to restore', but it never actually does the restore. I just got the 'restore' screen, telling me to connect to a Mac and restore. I was in the YouTube app, hit the subscribe button, and the screen froze for a few seconds then restarted. It has iOS 13.3 beta on it (although I haven't actually been doing any dev on this device). I have an 2018 model iPad, just over one year old. It will be appreciated for your generous forgiveness. In this case, i would like to refund you whenever you want.
